Plastics consume only a small part (4%) of the worldwide oil consumption. The result of the efficient use of plastics goes along with global fuel savings.  Furthermore it seems that the use of plastics economizes more oil than needed for its production.

Despite this slight consumption it’s also the responsibility of the plastic producers and manufacturing companies to make an effort and create a cleaner future for our descendants.

Gevaplast is also aware of this issue and makes maximal efforts to recycle internally, if possible, their own scrap and waste. What we can’t re-use is sent to specialized and registered  recycling companies who will create a second life for our scrap.
